These are the photos and memories that make life worth living - the result of saying yes to one more beer, seeing punk shows on school nights, and booking flights with money I will never have. These are the moments between the hard work - spent with the people I love while doing the things that make me happy. Shot through the majority of my 20’s, this collection shows life’s highs, spent with the people who get me through the lows.

This is an exploration of methodology: start with a concept, make some rules, see if a story is revealed.

Inspired by an NYT journaling project by Sheila Heti and a conversation with artist Mac Premo, the idea was to take every film photo I shot from March 2020 until now, arrange them in order of the date taken, give each of them the exact same length, and see the story it tells. No edits, no music cues. Every image in the video was a moment that mattered to me at that time it was shot, and every moment matters equally.
